Through our Reception and Placement Program refugees secure
housing, food, clothing and other basic needs; as well as assistance in accessing
education, social services and health care. Within
90 days, most refugees are well on their way toward self-sufficiency.

Match Grant Program
Our Match Grant Program provides intensive job counseling,
placement and follow-up to employable refugees and their families. In
addition to serving refugees resettled by our Reception and Placement
Program, we are also able to assist asylees, entrants, and victims of
trafficking with appropriate documentation. Contact our office for more
information on eligibility.

Individual Development Accounts (IDA)
This program is designed to help low-income refugees build assets
and financial savvy. It is a savings program that helps refugees save toward
a specific goal. As money is deposited into a savings account every month,
Catholic Charities will deposit an equal amount of money into a "parallel
account" for the refugee individual or household. When the refugee
individual or household is ready to make a purchase toward their
pre-approved savings goal (home purchase, microenterprise, or higher education), they will get
to spend the money in both accounts!

assistance in completing immigration forms, and photographs to individuals
seeking assistance in most immigration matters. Our immigration services are
an affordable alternative to attorney fees. Our immigration caseworker is
accredited by the Board of Immigration Appeals and is qualified to help with
any immigration need.

Refugee Elders Program
In efforts to reach a variety of refugee groups and serve unique
needs we have developed a Refugee Elders Program. This program serves refugees
aged 60+ and provides opportunities
for social interaction, to develop artistic talents, to learn about new
cultures and languages, and to build their English language skills. |
